One of the best aspects of living in a boarding school environment is the opportunity to have so many new experiences outside of daily classes. Whether you are sharing a meal with a student from Indonesia, riding roller coasters together at Six Flags, or exploring the streets of Boston, you will build lasting friendships (and develop essential life skills) in a close-knit and welcoming community.

This coming summer 2026, Cushing will be your home away from home. After a day filled with exciting classes and activities, our dorms are here for you to relax, study, and spend time with your friends. Each of our Summer Session dorms has been renovated since 2017 and consists of single and double bedrooms, a common area, and a laundry room. Each dorm features easy access to our facilities and amenities on campus, such as our dining hall, campus store, and student center.

Our beautiful hillside campus and the surrounding areas offer the perfect backdrop for you to learn, create friendships, and most importantly, have fun. Only an hour away from Boston, the region offers a unique combination of natural beauty, historical sites, recreational activities, and cultural events, and we take advantage of many of these resources through regular excursions including:
