The National Training Academy English department in New Zealand has grown and there are now students from 13 countries currently studying. NTA is a "Category One" (the highest category under NZ Qualifications Authority) Provider so all their students studying English for 14 weeks or more are eligible for Part Time Work Rights of up to 20 hours per week.
Improve your English language skills and learn for instance New Zealand agriculture terminology and practical farming skills. You can learn or improve on any of the following skills: Ride an ATV (Quadbike); Ride a motorbike; Drive a tractor; Fix fences; Milking operations in a NZ dairy shed and much more.
The National Trade Academy offers a range of English language training programmes at four levels for international students. Recently they have continued their innovative approach to education by developing options for international students to combine their English language study with unique New Zealand experiences such as horse riding, farming and horticulture.

NTA provides all the equipment you need, so you can learn in a safe and professional environment. NTA believes in establishing confidence for performing tasks independently and with efficiency. To do this, you need to be well protected and have plenty of opportunities to practice your skills. So an environment is provided which teaches this behaviour because employers are looking for this in their staff.
At the NTA Training Centre, there are motorbikes, ATVs, fencing tools, trailers, agrichemical equipment, tractors, stockyards, chainsaws, tools, safety equipment such as helmets, and a fully equipped equestrian centre with a full range of equine tack.
