Transforming Students’ Lives

At Taieri College we offer a vast range of subjects. Students can study such subjects as agricultural science, hospitality, tourism, sport and recreation and many more. We also offer a wide range of sporting and cultural extra curricular activities, which all students can enjoy.

We place particular emphasis on covering the Technology and Arts programme over the four years and creating the opportunity for students to learn another language. All Science programmes are delivered by specialist Science teachers using laboratories. Year 7 and Year 8 students are home roomed in specially designed classrooms. At Year 9 and 10 students follow a more traditional secondary structured day.

At Year 12 and 13 we are able to offer vocational and academic programmes as well as individualising a course of study involving work experience, work exploration and GATEWAY. We recognise that students in our Senior College are young adults, and we endeavour to support them to make good choices and to consolidate a strong foundation for their future career. Individualised programmes can be created.

We are proud to provide a dedicated team to fully support our international students. Our homestays provide a welcoming, warm family environment for our International students.
