General English Core 15 ( 1 hr = 55 min + 5 min break)
NIS offers 10 General English (GE) levels, aligned with the CEFR. You will take a placement test to determine your level. GE courses are 15 hours weekly, taught in the mornings, and are mandatory for all students.
Courses focus on developing the four skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing, along with core systems like Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Discourse. Functional Skills are included to provide real-life practice.
Intensive General English - 25 Hrs (1 hr = 55 min + 5 min break)
The 25-hour General English course provides an intensive language learning experience, combining a solid foundation in English language skills with both conversational and functional English development. This course integrates the 15-hour core General English component with an additional 10 hours split between Conversation English Skills and Functional English Skills, offering students a more immersive and well-rounded approach to language mastery.
